Project Coordinator will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for assigned coordination of engineering, procurement, and construction work.\nThis role will require continuous communication with all project team members, and support to various scopes of work under the direction of a Project Manager.\nA Project Coordinator is expected to fulfill a critical role in project delivery and develop an understanding of project execution methodology including an understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, contract management and project controls principles.\nYour role\nResponsible for assigned scope of the project and accountable for performing duties that facilitate work progressing with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements.\nLiaise with key stakeholders, generally including project managers, project specialists, other project coordinators, project controls, procurement, engineering, construction, quality, client & subcontractors as required.\nDraft various project type deliverables including various project reports, resource planning & database maintenance for the Project, export license reports, non-engineering turnover documents, etc.\nCoordinate with Project Manager for the completion of Engineering deliverables.\nExpected to interface with engineering for technical items but not responsible for creation of engineering deliverables or resolution of (technical) field issues.\nProvide status report of project milestones, and work with scheduling team to adjust schedules as required.\nCultivate and maintain a positive relationship with client and subcontractors.\nDraft various presentations, reports and/or documents to stakeholders.\nResponsible for contributing inputs to the project schedule and/or budget and monitoring adherence to project schedule and budget.\nEnsure work is performed within quality program requirements.\nEnsure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.\nRequired Interfaces:\nCustomers, suppliers, Candu Partner.\nProject Managers, project personnel, estimating personnel.\nTrades personnel.\nAbout you\nUniversity degree or equivalent, BSc in Engineering considered an asset.\nExperience supporting various type of projects including construction, manufacturing, or engineering services projects, or relevant co-op experience considered an asset.\nWorking knowledge of industrial safety and nuclear safety culture considered an asset.\nUnderstanding of project delivery methodology including earned value, critical path scheduling, prime contract and subcontract management, procurement and supply chain methodology and construction work packaging and associated inspection and test plans considered an asset.\nAn appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry considered an asset.\nExcellent organizational, communication and customer relationship skills.\nDemonstrated oral and written communication skills.\nDemonstrates initiative and decisiveness.\nPlans and communicates effectively.\nCommitment to Safety.\nStakeholder Management.\nProblem Solving.\nIntegrity and Trust.\nCustomer Focus.\nTeam Player, Shares Knowledge.\nWork Location:\nBased at our home office location in Mississauga, Ontario but able to periodically support site locations as required by the project.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive -
