This role under the project services group involves supporting our project managers and engineering teams to deliver design and support projects to our clients, with various and diverse types of projects.\nThe position reports to the Planning and Scheduling Manager, AtkinsRéalis Canada, and will be based in Vancouver, BC, however, can support other projects across the country and overseas if needed.\nYour role\nReview project documents and liaise with project teams to identify scope components and requirements. Also, layout the scope over the work breakdown structure as agreed with project leads and as correlates with the budget structure.\nEstablish project schedules using known industry software to meet project requirements (Primavera P6, MS Project and/or TILOS).\nCreate, arrange, load and assess schedule resources to different schedule levels and adjust/level resources to meet project plans.\nIdentify the critical path and near-critical path using CPM scheduling method and reflect the same along with other schedule assumptions on the basis of the schedule.\nConduct review sessions with project teams and clients in order to obtain the team’s buy-in and set schedules as baselines.\nConfer with project and client teams on a regular basis, track time and sequence changes to update the schedule and issue baseline schedule revisions as applicable.\nSupport other project management and project controls functions and perform other duties related to planning and scheduling when required by project teams.\nAbout you\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering Management or a related field.\nCertification with AACE, PMI or CMAA is preferred.\n5 - 10 years of experience in scheduling within Engineering projects (experience in diverse project types is preferred).\nProficiency in scheduling software; MS-Project and Primavera P6.\nStrong communication and presentation skills (proficiency in French is preferred).\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
