The role develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide the project team and leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable insights to support decision-making.\nYour role\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for project performance reporting.\nCollect, validate, consolidate, and analyze data from project controls systems and other approved data sources.\nSupport weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting requirements for the assigned project, project management team, and executive leadership.\nMonitor data quality and perform data validation, health checks, and reconciliation activities to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.\nGenerate schedule, cost, risk, deliverable, resource, and performance metrics and key performance indicator reporting.\nProduce dashboards and scorecards that track project health, trends, forecasts, milestones, and performance indicators.\nCollaborate with project controls, planning, risk, engineering, and project management stakeholders to develop and maintain reporting solutions that support project objectives.\nDevelop and maintain reporting templates, datasets, data models, calculation logic, and supporting documentation.\nSupport data automation and process improvement initiatives that increase reporting efficiency, reliability, and consistency.\nAnalyze reporting results to identify trends, anomalies, data gaps, risks, and items requiring management attention.\nPrepare executive presentations, management reports, project review materials, and project health dashboards.\nSupport Earned Value Management and broader project controls processes through reporting and analytics activities.\nMaintain reporting governance standards, data integrity controls, reporting calendars, and documented procedures.\nPrepare custom analyses, reporting extracts, and special assignments as requested by project leadership.\nWorks under general supervision while managing recurring project reporting deliverables.\nServes as a reporting and analytics resource to the Project Controls team and project leadership.\nMaintains project reporting tools, dashboards, data models, and reporting processes.\nSupports continuous improvement initiatives focused on reporting efficiency, automation, data quality, and visualization standards.\nParticipates in the enhancement and implementation of project controls systems, reporting solutions, and analytics capabilities.\nProvides analytical support to project reviews, performance assessments, and executive reporting activities.\nAbout you\nBachelor's degree, college diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nTwo to five years of experience in project reporting, project controls, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.\nExperience using Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and related reporting or analytical tools.\nExperience working with large datasets and consolidating information from different data sources.\nExperience supporting engineering, construction, nuclear, infrastructure, or major capital project environments is considered an asset.\nKnowledge of project controls principles, including schedule, cost, risk, progress, and performance reporting.\nUnderstanding of KPI development, dashboard design, data visualization, and reporting best practices.\nFamiliarity with systems such as EcoSys, Primavera P6, Oracle, SAP, or similar project management systems is considered an asset.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to translate complex project data into clear and practical insights.\nPreferred Skills:\nPower BI dashboard development and DAX.\nData modeling, transformation, and analytics.\nAdvanced Excel and Power Query.\nExecutive reporting and presentation development.\nProject controls, schedule, risk, deliverable, and resource reporting.\nData quality management, validation, and reconciliation.\nReporting automation and continuous improvement.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
