AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Resident Engineer, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Your role
- LeadandsuperviseallmechanicalengineeringactivitiesrelatedtoEHV/HVsubstations(132kV,220kV,400kVandabove).
- Ensureconstructionactivitiesareexecutedinaccordancewithapproveddrawings,projectspecifications,contractdocuments,andlocalauthorityrequirements.
- Monitorcontractorperformance,productivity,andadherencetoprojectschedules.
- Conductregularsiteinspectionstoverifyprogress,workmanship,andcompliance.
- Reviewandrecommendapprovalofcontractorsubmissions,includingmethodstatements,materialsubmittals,shopdrawings,andworkprocedures.
- Participateinprogressreviewmeetingsandcoordinatewithallprojectstakeholders
About you
Bachelor’s degree or a related field.
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on erection, testing, and commissioning.
Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with subcontractors, clients, and civil teams.
Proven ability to prepare and review technical drawings and calculations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
