In this hybrid role, you will support infrastructure and transportation projects by assisting with property acquisition, relocation services, property management, valuation support, and right-of-way coordination activities.\nWorking under the guidance of senior right-of-way professionals and project managers, you will serve as a key liaison between clients, property owners, attorneys, governmental agencies, and real estate professionals. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects while developing expertise in right-of-way acquisition, relocation assistance, property research, and land management.\nYour role\nRepresent clients professionally in interactions with property owners, tenants, attorneys, real estate professionals, and government agencies.\nPrepare property owner and tenant notification packages and maintain detailed project documentation.\nAssist in negotiating the acquisition of property rights needed for public and private infrastructure projects.\nConduct title research by reviewing county records and verifying ownership information.\nProvide relocation assistance to displaced residential and business occupants, including supporting needs assessments, relocation plans, offer packages, and claim processing.\nResearch property characteristics, land use, market activity, and comparable sales data to support valuation and appraisal efforts.\nConduct property inventories and assist with the management, sale, or lease of acquired properties.\nPrepare supporting documentation for legal proceedings and maintain organized contract and project files.\nObtain required right-of-way occupancy permits and coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed.\nSupport demolition and site clearance activities, including contractor coordination and oversight.\nMaintain accurate records and project tracking information to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with project teams and provide guidance to junior staff and support personnel on assigned projects.\nPerform additional duties as assigned in support of project and client needs.\nAbout you\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of two years of professional experience.\nStrong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.\nExperience conducting property research, title review, document preparation, or records management.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project documentation systems.\nAbility to exercise sound judgment and work independently under general supervision.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive real estate license or appraisal-related credential issued by the State Real Estate Commission or Appraisal Board.\nExperience supporting transportation, utility, municipal, or infrastructure projects.\nKnowledge of right-of-way acquisition procedures, relocation assistance programs, and eminent domain processes.\nFamiliarity with appraisal principles, valuation methodologies, and property negotiations.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nA customer-focused approach when working with property owners and stakeholders.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.\nA collaborative mindset and willingness to work across multidisciplinary project teams.\nThe ability to balance independent decision-making with effective communication and escalation when appropriate.\nRewards & benefits\nAt AtkinsRéalis, our values-Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence-are more than just words.
