Description\nOverview\nAt the Global Technology Centre (GTC), Bengaluru, we are looking for a motivated Scan2BIM Analyst - I to join our Geospatial team.\nThe role will support multidisciplinary infrastructure and built-environment projects by converting laser scanning and other reality-capture data into accurate as-built BIM models.\nThe successful candidate will work with point clouds, survey data and engineering information to develop Architectural, Structural and MEP models in accordance with project-specific LOD/LOIN, accuracy, BIM and information management requirements.\nThe role provides an opportunity to support global projects across sectors including Buildings, Rail, Highways, Water, Energy, Nuclear and other infrastructure programmes.\nYour Role\nResponsibilities\nProcess and review point-cloud data, including registration, alignment, georeferencing, cleaning and optimisation.\nDevelop accurate Scan-to-BIM / as-built models from point clouds and supporting survey information.\nModel Architectural, Structural and MEP elements to project-defined LOD/LOIN and accuracy requirements.\nCreate and modify BIM families/components for project-specific and non-standard assets.\nMaintain correct coordinates, levels, grids, model structure and project parameters.\nPerform QA/QC and dimensional accuracy checks against point clouds and specified project tolerances.\nSupport multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection.\nPrepare BIM models, drawings and associated deliverables in accordance with project requirements. \nFollow project BEP, CDE, naming convention, revision control and information management procedures. \nWork collaboratively with Geospatial, Survey, BIM and Engineering teams to resolve modelling opportunities for technical and professional development. \nAbout You\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Geomatics, Geoinformatics, or a related discipline. \n3-6 years of relevant experience in Scan-to-BIM, BIM modelling, reality capture or related projects. \nExperience working with large point-cloud datasets and multidisciplinary BIM models. \nExperience delivering BIM models to project-defined LOD/LOIN and accuracy requirements. \nEssential Technical Skills\nStrong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit for Architectural, Structural and/or MEP modelling. \nExperience with Autodesk ReCap Pro and point-cloud workflows. \nWorking knowledge of Navisworks Manage for model review, coordination and clash detection. \nGood understanding of point-cloud registration, coordinate systems, georeferencing and accuracy validation. \nAbility to interpret point clouds, survey data, drawings and engineering information to create accurate as-built models. \nUnderstanding of LOD/LOIN, shared coordinates, grids, levels, model health and QA/QC procedures. \nFamiliarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/BIM 360 or similar Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms. \nAwareness of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements. \nDesirable Skills / Added Advantage\nExperience with point-cloud processing software such as Leica Cyclone, FARO SCENE, Trimble RealWorks or CloudCompare.\nExperience with OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) for multidisciplinary BIM modelling, coordination and project delivery. \nExperience with PLS-CADD, particularly for transmission line modelling and integration of survey/LiDAR data. \nKnowledge of Dynamo or Python for BIM workflow automation. \nFamiliarity with Civil 3D, Plant 3D, MicroStation, IFC and GIS/BIM integration. \nExperience with Solibri or other BIM/model-checking tools. \nUnderstanding of laser scanning specifications, survey control, scan density, accuracy and scan planning. \nKnowledge of UAV photogrammetry and other reality-capture technologies. \nExposure to digital twin, asset information and data management workflows. \nExperience with platforms such as ProjectWise, SharePoint or other CDE environments. \nKnowledge of COBie, asset tagging or classification standards would be beneficial. \nCommunication & Behavioural Skills\nGood written and verbal communication skills in English. \nStrong attention to detail with a focus on model accuracy and quality. \nGood analytical and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams. \nSelf-motivated and organised, with the ability to deliver assigned tasks with limited supervision. \nAbility to work
