Reporting directly to the Regional HSE leadership, the HSE Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization's HSE standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate requirements, and fostering a strong safety culture across offices, projects, accommodations, and transportation operations. The role requires close collaboration with operational, logistics, project, and client stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental performance while supporting the successful delivery of AtkinsRéalis projects and business objectives.\nYour role\nProvide HSE leadership, guidance, technical expertise, and oversight for all AtkinsRéalis operations and activities within KSA.\nPromote and embed a positive and just safety culture across business units and project teams.\nEnsure compliance with corporate HSE standards, local regulatory requirements, and the Global HSE Management System (GHSEMS).\nSupport project managers, resident engineers, and operational leaders on all HSE-related matters.\nConduct comprehensive HSE risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks.\nMonitor and support incident reporting, investigation, corrective actions, and lessons learned in accordance with company procedures.\nAssist with the implementation of BlueBook standards and other regional HSE requirements.\nCollaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure safe management of company-provided accommodation and transportation.\nOversee driving safety programs and support the implementation of road safety requirements.\nConduct HSE audits, inspections, and compliance assessments across offices, projects, accommodations, and contractor operations.\nSupport leadership site visits, safety tours, and engagement programs to reinforce HSE expectations.\nDevelop and deliver HSE training, awareness campaigns, and competency-building initiatives.\nSupport employee wellbeing programs in coordination with leadership and wellbeing teams.\nReview hotels, worker accommodations, and temporary housing facilities to ensure compliance with company HSE standards.\nEngage with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities, municipalities, and government bodies on HSE matters.\nMonitor HSE performance indicators and prepare management reports and recommendations.\nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices across the organization.\nPromote AtkinsRéalis' values and commitment to excellence in health, safety, environment, and wellbeing.\nAbout you\nBachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.\nProfessional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH International Diploma/IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent.\nMinimum 15+ years of HSE experience, preferably within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or project management environments.\nStrong knowledge of KSA HSE regulations, international safety standards, and industry best practices.\nExperience implementing and managing HSE Management Systems within large organizations.\nProven track record in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and compliance reviews.\nExperience managing HSE requirements related to accommodations, transportation, and driving safety programs.\nStrong understanding of ISO standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to develop and deliver engaging HSE training programs.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\nProficiency in HSE reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to influence and engage personnel at all organizational levels.\nFluency in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.\nWillingness to travel within KSA to support offices and project locations as required.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career.\nThis includes:\nTax-free salary.\nLife insurance coverage.\nMedical insurance.\nAnnual leave balance.\nCompany gratuity scheme.\nDiscretionary bonus program.\nAnnual flight contribution.\nTransportation & housing allowances.\nEmployee Wellbeing Program: 24/7 access to specialists in finance, legal matters, familycare, personal health, fitness, and nutrition.\nSeize every opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your expertise, and be recognized for the impact you make.\nAbout AtkinsRéalis\nWe're AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization.
