You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse technical and cross-functional teams, stakeholders, contractors and large Canadian utility partners with overall accountability to drive successful project outcomes. You will manage activities across the full project lifecycle-including budgeting, scheduling, engineering oversight, procurement support, construction coordination, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering foundation, proven leadership capabilities, and will be a motivated self-starter who embraces the opportunity to work on a variety of projects concurrently.\nYour role\nIn this role, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):\nManaging the successful delivery of multiple projects of varying size and complexity within the utilities sector.\nDefining project objectives, procedures, and performance standards in compliance with AtkinsRéalis and client processes and proactively managing both the technical and financial aspects of project delivery.\nProviding leadership, direction, and oversight to multidisciplinary project teams across all phases-from initiation and planning to construction and close-out.\nDriving overall project performance, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety expectations.\nCoordinating multi-disciplinary internal teams (engineering, quality, safety, commercial, etc.), subcontractors, and partners (internal/external) to meet delivery objectives.\nLeading project cost and schedule development, including monthly progress tracking and forecasting activities and preparation of internal and client-facing reporting.\nSupporting contract administration, proposal development, estimate creation and procurement activities related to services and materials.\nBuilding and nurturing collaborative relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as a primary client contact where required.\nAbout you\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (P.Eng. preferred), Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; PMP or other recognized project management certification required.\nMinimum 10 years of project management experience supporting engineering, construction, utility, or linear infrastructure projects within the power, electric utility, or similar industrial sectors.\nStrong knowledge of project management disciplines, including design coordination, estimating, contract management, procurement, project controls, and project accounting.\nExperience monitoring project performance, managing budgets and schedules, preparing reports, and using project management software such as MS Project, SAP, Primavera, Oracle, or similar tools.\nExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, planning, risk management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
