The role provides subject matter expertise on general software and drives continuous improvement, partnering closely with the Application Portfolio, Lifecycle and Delivery teams as well as Procurement, Security and Business Partners.\nYour role\nManage the full software asset lifecycle, including requests, licence validation/checks, deployments, consumption analysis, optimisation and renewals.\nLead a specialised work group, distributing work activities and serving as the escalation point for licence-related questions and issues.\nOversee the allocation and prioritisation of software asset management tickets across the team, proactively following up on progress, removing blockers, and ensuring timely resolution in line with service level agreements and team objectives.\nAnalyse software deployments and consumption to identify optimisation opportunities and cost savings.\nProvide subject matter expertise on software applications and licensing to support contract negotiations and purchasing decisions.\nProduce reports on licence positions and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate software entitlement and inventory records in the Flexera licence management tool.\nMonitor software maintenance, subscriptions and support agreements.\nManage catalogue and cost recovery processes for packaged software applications.\nSupport procurement (and surrounding processes) by performing goods receipting on software purchases.\nSupport software publisher audits and verification exercises.\nReview software asset management processes to ensure they are up-to-date, identifying opportunities to improve via control and automation.\nEnsure 100% customer satisfaction and client focus.\nManage incidents and requests according to defined SLAs and ensure 100% adherence to best practice guidelines.\nAbout you\nQualification in Software Asset Management.\nITIL V4 Foundation Accreditation.\nBilingualism (French and English)*\nAt least 3 years’ experience working within an ITIL-aligned Service Management organisation.\nMinimum 3 years’ experience working in a senior role in Software Asset Management.\nExperience implementing process change.\nExperience with the Flexera licence management tool.\nProven experience in data analysis with strong numeracy, analytical and reporting skills.\nSupplier relationship experience.\nHigh level of proficiency and knowledge of IT Asset Management and enterprise procurement processes.\nUnderstanding of audits and policies.\nWorking knowledge of ServiceNow.\nExcellent analytical and communication (both verbal and written) skills.\nCompetencies:\nIT Service Management expertise.\nCommunication skills.\nStakeholder Management.\nPerformance Improvement.\nConfidence and professionalism.\n* Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.\nRewards & benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
