In this role, you will provide professional-level technical coordination and support for complex transportation and infrastructure projects involving utility engineering, utility relocations, and stakeholder engagement. Working with multidisciplinary teams, utility owners, clients, and public agencies, you will help identify and resolve utility conflicts, support project delivery, and coordinate technical documentation and regulatory requirements.\nYour Role\nCoordinate utility engineering and utility coordination activities for transportation and infrastructure projects.\nCoordinate and evaluate Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) activities.\nIdentify, analyze, and help resolve utility conflicts involving water, wastewater, stormwater, gas, electric, and telecommunications systems.\nPrepare and review utility exhibits, conflict matrices, technical reports, and project documentation.\nCoordinate with utility owners, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to advance project objectives.\nLead or support utility coordination meetings, track action items, and maintain project records and submittals.\nAssist with utility relocation planning, permitting, agreements, cost estimates, and technical studies.\nSupport construction-phase activities, including RFIs, field coordination, and utility conflict resolution.\nReview plans, calculations, and technical deliverables for quality and compliance.\nCoordinate the work of junior staff, technicians, CAD personnel, and consultants.\nParticipate in proposal development, presentations, and business development activities as needed.\nAbout You\nBachelor's degree in a technical field required.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in utility engineering, utility coordination, transportation infrastructure, or related technical professional activities.\nUnderstanding of utility systems, infrastructure project delivery, and stakeholder coordination.\nExperience interpreting multidisciplinary engineering plans and specifications.\nFamiliarity with (SUE), federal and local utility accommodation policies, permitting processes, right-of-way considerations, and construction practices.\nProficiency with engineering and project software; experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation preferred.\nStrong technical writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.\nRewards & benefits\nAt AtkinsRéalis, our values-Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence-are more than just words.
