The ideal candidate is comfortable leading strategic discussions with senior stakeholders while also addressing complex technical challenges with design teams.\nYour Role\nServe as the primary client contact for technical matters related to railway infrastructure.\nDevelop and maintain trusted relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.\nLead technical discussions, facilitate design workshops, and represent the team during client meetings.\nUnderstand client needs and translate them into practical and achievable technical solutions.\nProvide technical leadership to railway infrastructure teams composed of internal resources and subcontractors.\nCoordinate design activities and ensure integration with related disciplines, including civil, structural, geotechnical, systems, operations, and architecture.\nOversee technical production and ensure the quality of deliverables prior to issuance.\nIdentify technical risks, propose mitigation measures, and contribute to resolving major project issues.\nParticipate in activity planning, schedule development, and progress monitoring.\nEnsure compliance with standards, design criteria, contractual requirements, and project quality processes.\nSupport the Project Director in communications with clients and project partners.\nAct as a mentor and technical resource for junior team members.\nAbout You\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.\nMember of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership.\nMinimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in the railway or public transit sector.\nDemonstrated experience in the design and coordination of complex railway infrastructure.\nSignificant experience managing client relationships and presenting technical solutions to decision-makers.\nExperience on major public transit projects.\nExperience with Design-Build (DB), P3/PPP, or consortium-delivered projects.\nStrong understanding of interfaces between trackwork, civil engineering, railway systems, and operations.\nStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to make decisions in complex multidisciplinary environments.\nProven leadership and ability to develop team talent.\nExcellent proficiency in French; functional or advanced in English depending on project requirements.\nMust be located in the Québec City region or willing to travel there regularly.\nRewards & Benefits\nExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive - at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.\nEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.\nMake the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.\nAnd take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.\nBe rewarded.
