  • Ensure detour designs address safety, accessibility, emergency vehicle access, and operational continuity.

Traffic Engineering Analysis

  • Conduct traffic impact assessments, traffic capacity analysis, and operational assessments to evaluate detour effectiveness.
  • Analyze traffic volumes, turning movements, intersection performance, and road network operations.
  • Utilize traffic modeling and simulation tools to assess and optimize traffic detour and management strategies.

Project Implementation and Site Coordination

  • Provide technical oversight during implementation of traffic detours and temporary traffic management measures.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure traffic diversions are implemented in accordance with approved plans and safety standards.
  • Identify traffic risks, operational conflicts, and safety concerns, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Support construction teams to ensure traffic management measures align with project schedules.

Stakeholder Coordination and Approvals

  • Coordinate with clients, government authorities, traffic police, and contractors to obtain necessary approvals for detour and traffic management plans.
  • Participate in technical coordination meetings and provide expert input on traffic-related matters.
  • Support multidisciplinary coordination with design, construction, and supervision teams.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all traffic management and detour plans comply with national regulations, applicable standards, and project requirements.
  • Ensure proper implementation of traffic safety measures, including signage, markings, barriers, and traffic control devices.
  • Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure quality and compliance.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and review traffic management reports, detour drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
  • Maintain documentation of approved traffic management plans and detour implementations.
  • Provide technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations to project leadership.
