This is an entry-level position and is based out of Orlando, FL.\nYour Role\nDevelops hydrologic and hydraulic models, which will be used for the planning and design of stormwater management facilities, technical drainage studies, FEMA letters and reports, transportation drainage projects, or other projects.\nConducts research on the feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory agency requirements.\nPerforms various routine drafting and CAD assignments.\nPerforms data analysis and/or data processing using ArcGIS \nAssists in the preparation and development of client proposals and presentations.\nAssists in drainage design which includes storm drain systems, pond design, culvert analysis and bridge hydraulic analysis. \nPrepare cost estimates and technical reports and memorandums. \nParticipates in quality control checks, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, checking computations, and/or reviewing designs and drawings performed by others.\nMay coordinate work with other engineers and professionals within and outside own discipline, and with support services staff.\nMay perform other duties as the supervisor may deem necessary from time to time.\nAbout You\nEXPERIENCE: 0-2 years experience in a related technical field\nEDUCATION: Completion of B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil Engineeringfrom an ABET accredited college/university,preferably with a focus in water resources.\nSPECIAL SKILLS:Proficient interpersonal and communication skills\nCapability to develop technical writings and reports\nDrafting / CAD ability is desired\nMath skills to perform calculations\nProficiency in Microsoft Office / Excel\nExperience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Stormwise, EPA-SWMM, GIS, AutoCAD and MicroStation.\n\nPROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: Registered EI or EIT (preferred)\nReward & benefits\nAt AtkinsRéalis, our values-Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence-are more than just words.
