We work in partnership with Airbus Aerospace & Defence to supply dedicated MRO services, including heavy and line maintenance, to the Royal Air Force’s fleet of A400M Atlas aircraft. Our committed and flexible team of over 100 engineers and management are based at RAF Brize Norton in a dedicated 24,000m², three-bay facility designed to optimise the maintenance of the aircraft. Our aim as a team is to attract and develop key talent across all levels of our growing aviation business.\n\nJob Purpose\n Supervisor for the Stores department will ensure the smooth transition of parts into and out of the business, in accordance with MAA regulations and company procedures.\nKey responsibilities\nDay to day Supervision of the shift operators to support effective output. \nEnsuring resource availability for the required workload. \nReceipting and processing in-coming parts accurately and efficiently onto AMOS. \nIssuing of part at the Stores counter. \nUnderstanding health and safety practices and enforcing them in all aspects of the role. \nTo ensure the safety and security of all assets held in the Stores facility. \nAccurate inputting of data onto the Stores computer system. \nEnsuring the safety of all aircraft parts, including the integrity of labels and packaging. \nProcessing of US returns. \nPlace orders with Contractor for aircraft parts. \nStock management. \nAccounting of serviceable spares after maintenance. \nTo undertake other similar or associated duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager. \n\nHealth and Safety\n Understand individual operational safety and security responsibilities including;\nBe aware of personal health and safety and the health and safety of others at work. Including Management responsibilities as required by H&S Manual. \nBe aware of aviation safety responsibilities with regards to the AAGDS Safety Policy.
