F&B Assistant Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Restaurant Manager in leading, coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Assist with recruitment, staff scheduling, performance management, and employee relations.
• Ensure all team members maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus, wine offerings, and service standards.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring the facility, equipment, and service areas are maintained to company standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, receiving procedures, and par stock requirements.
• Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for service with appropriate staffing, supplies, and operational readiness.
• Enforce company policies, grooming standards, health regulations, and service procedures.
• Maintain positive working relationships with Human Resources and support compliance with Industrial Agreements.
• Assist with financial tracking, inventory controls, and month-end reporting processes.
• Ensure all financial and credit transactions are handled accurately and securely.
• Stay informed of industry trends and local market competition.
• Coordinate with Reservations and Sales teams to support events and business needs.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by proactively addressing guest needs, inquiries, and concerns.
• Resolve guest complaints professionally and efficiently while maintaining a positive dining experience.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of resort amenities and dining offerings to assist guests effectively.
• Maintain a valid Health Certificate and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned from time to time.
• The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years college degree.
• Minimum of 1 year’s hotel/restaurant management preferable
• Previous hotel-related experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of service and F&B operations
• Solid negotiation, persuasion, communication, presentation and public speaking skills with high level of creativity and innovation
• Food Handler’s Certificate, First Aid and CPR
