As Data Architect you report to the Head of Digitalization in Industrial Flow Division.\nYour day-to-day\nYou will be responsible to\nDefine, develop, and continuously evolve the company-wide data architecture and data strategy in alignment with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.\nEstablish and govern a Master Data Management (MDM) framework across end-to-end business processes and multiple enterprise applications.\nDesign and implement scalable data architecture principles, standards, and target models together with the Enterprise Architecture team.\nDrive the development of a modern data platform enabling seamless, secure, and efficient data integration across ERP, CRM, PLM, customer portals, and other business systems.\nDefine and enforce data governance policies, including data ownership, stewardship, quality management, and lifecycle management.\nCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and IT teams to identify data requirements and translate them into sustainable architecture solutions.\nEnsure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high data quality standards.\nSupport data-driven decision-making by establishing a consistent and trusted enterprise data foundation.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices in Data Management, Data Governance, and Analytics.\nYour skills and experience\nWe encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.\nQualifications & Skills\n\nUniversity degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, Master Data Management, or Enterprise Architecture.\nData Architecture and Data Modeling\nMaster Data Management (MDM)\nData Governance and Data Quality Management\nData Integration and API-based architectures\nEnterprise Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, and Cloud Technologies\nExperience working in complex system landscapes involving ERP, CRM, PLM, and other enterprise applications.\nSolid understanding of data protection regulations and information security principles.\nStrong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT functions.\nSelf-driven, structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style.\nFluent in English; German is considered an advantage.\nKey Success Factors\nAbility to drive adoption beyond system implementation\nStrong business credibility\nPragmatic and solution-oriented mindset\nStrong interpersonal skills\nAbility to manage resistance to change\nYour compensation and benefits\nAt Atlas Copco Group, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation.
