We're a community space where players, collectors, and enthusiasts come together to play, compete, and hang out.\n\nWe're looking for a friendly, responsible, and enthusiastic Retail & Operations Assistant to join our team!\n\nThis role focuses primarily on retail, customer service, inventory management, and supporting our daily store operations, including tournaments and TCG card drop-offs. You'll also help out with simple café duties when needed.\n\nDon't know much about TCGs or how to make drinks? No worries, we'll teach you! We're more interested in someone with a good attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping customers.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\nRetail & Customer Service\n\nAssist customers with purchases, product enquiries, and recommendations.\n\nHandle cashier duties, POS transactions, and payment processing.\n\nFamiliarise yourself with our products, including trading card games, accessories, and collectibles.\n\nRestock merchandise, arrange product displays, and maintain store presentation.\n\nAssist with receiving, checking, pricing, and organising incoming products.\n\nProvide a friendly, welcoming shopping experience for all customers.\n\nAssist with online orders, including picking, packing, and order fulfilment.\n\nRespond to basic customer enquiries in-store and through our communication channels.\n\nTCG Drop-Offs & Inventory Management\n\nAssist customers with TCG card drop-offs, including receiving, checking, sorting, and organising submissions.\n\nEnsure drop-off submissions are properly recorded, labelled, and stored.\n\nAssist with processing and organising TCG singles for inventory and sale.\n\nConduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.\n\nUpdate inventory records and ensure stock quantities are accurately reflected in the system.\n\nMonitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low-stock items.\n\nMaintain an organised inventory storage area, including singles, sealed products, and accessories.\n\nAssist with stock transfers, replenishment, and other inventory-related tasks.\n\nTournament & Community Operations\n\nAssist with the preparation and execution of TCG tournaments and community events.\n\nHandle player registration, entry fee collection, and attendance tracking.\n\nAssist with tournament setup, including tables, seating arrangements, and event materials.\n\nPrepare and distribute participation rewards, tournament prizes, and promotional items.\n\nSupport tournament organisers and judges with event logistics when required.\n\nHelp maintain an organised and comfortable playing environment.\n\nAssist with event cleanup and restoring the store after tournaments.\n\nEngage positively with players and help create a welcoming community atmosphere.\n\nCafé & Beverage Operations (Secondary Role)\n\nPrepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to our recipes.\n\nAssist with simple food preparation, heating, and serving.\n\nMaintain cleanliness of the café counter, equipment, and preparation areas.\n\nMonitor beverage supplies and assist with stock replenishment.\n\nFollow basic food safety and hygiene procedures.\n\nNo barista experience required. Training will be provided!\n\nGeneral Store Operations\n\nAssist with daily opening and closing procedures.\n\nMaintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, retail area, café, and tournament space.\n\nWork closely with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.\n\nFollow store procedures for cash handling, inventory management, and customer service.\n\nAssist with other reasonable duties related to store operations as required.\n\nWorking Hours\nShift-based schedule within store operating hours:\n\nTuesday–Friday: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM\n\nSaturday–Sunday: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM\n\nMonday: Store closed\n\nActual working hours, breaks, and rest days will be arranged according to the staff roster and applicable employment regulations.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive salary based on experience.\n\nStaff meals during eligible shifts.\n\nEPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions.\n\nOn-the-job training in retail operations, inventory management, TCG products, tournament operations, and beverage preparation.\n\nA casual, friendly working environment surrounded by a passionate gaming community.\n\nOpportunities to develop new skills and grow alongside the business.\n\nHow to Apply\nInterested?
