This individual will be tasked with the quality execution of the day-to-day core accounting responsibilities, driving improvements in processes and reporting, and engaging in problem-solving. We are seeking a talented and dedicated professional with the ability to be part of a versatile team and a strong desire to learn and develop in their career.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nAssist with month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger analysis. Focus areas will include Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Expense Accruals, and Payroll.\nProcess analytical review across Atlas Legal Entity structures and create reporting documentation to support CAO control review of the month-end close process.\nSupport creation of monthly detailed Management Reporting.\nFacilitate quarterly financial statements, support the annual audit and provide information for various US and Foreign tax filings.\nSupport ongoing system implementation, strategic enhancements, and process improvements required for ongoing development of the function.\nAddress ad hoc requests as needed.\nQualifications and Experience\nCPA preferred.\nPublic accounting experience preferred.\nCollege degree with a competitive GPA and demonstrated math or analytical ability.\n1-3 years progressive accounting experience.\nPrevious Hedge Fund/PE Style/Financial Services experience a plus.\nStrong understanding of USGAAP principles and financial reporting standards\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail\nEffective communication skills: including the ability to synthesize and see the big picture\nAbility to juggle more than one project at a time and work in a fast-paced environment.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel.\nN/A\nThe base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location.
