You will contribute directly to how we create high-quality products and solutions for our customers.\nShort Description\nWe are seeking a proactive Electronics Test Support Engineer to support ICT and functional test systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting test equipment and fixtures, maintaining Keysight i3070 systems, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production test performance. Working closely with Engineering and Operations teams, you will help resolve technical issues, improve test station reliability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that minimise downtime and enhance product quality\nYour day-to-day\nProvide day-to-day support for ICT and functional test stations on the production floor\nAssist in troubleshooting ICT-related issues, including fixture, probing, and measurement problems\nSupport the operation and upkeep of Keysight i3070 test systems\nCarry out fault finding and basic repair on test equipment, fixtures, and cables\nPerform preventative maintenance to maintain test system reliability and minimize downtime\nSupport investigation of First Time Test Failure Rate (FTTFR) issues\nAssist with engineering changes (ECDs) affecting test systems and fixtures\nWork closely with senior test engineers to resolve more complex ICT issues\nHelp with test station improvements, duplication, and upgrades\nMaintain clear records of issues, fixes, and recurring problems\nCollaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to support production needs\nEscalate complex or systemic ICT issues to senior engineers with clear technical evidence and structured fault analysis.\nYour skills and experience\nHNC/HND or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in a production test engineering environment.\nBackground in developing, troubleshooting, and supporting automated test systems for electronic or electromechanical products.\nPractical experience with In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems in a manufacturing environment\nExposure to Keysight i3070 platforms (preferred but not necessarily expert level)\nBasic understanding of:\nICT principles (probing, measurements, test coverage)\nTest fixtures and interface hardware..\nAbility to troubleshoot common ICT issues such as:\nFixture/probe contact problems\nFalse failures and intermittent faults\nExperience supporting automated test equipment (ATE) or functional test systems\nAbility to read and interpret:\nSchematics and basic PCB layouts\nGood problem-solving skills with a structured approach\nAble to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment\nCommunicates clearly with both engineers and operators\nWillingness to learn and develop ICT/test knowledge further\nOrganised with good attention to detail\nYour compensation and benefits\nWe offer compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and responsibilities of the role.
