As a mechanical project engineer in our Energy Conversion Solutions team (Oil-Free Air division), you will follow product development projects from start to finish. You will see products evolve from initial lab prototypes to full-scale manufacturing, working closely with project leaders, local teams, and international facilities in locations such as India and China.\nYour daily flow involves specifying, designing, and optimizing mechanical and thermodynamical systems and components such as pumps, piping, coolers, fans, valves, sheet metal, and castings-in 3D CAD. You build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), perform design calculations, conduct risk analyses, and evaluate cost, manufacturability, logistics, and serviceability. Additionally, you define test programs, prepare assembly instructions, follow up on prototype testing, interact with suppliers, and apply international standards (ISO, PED, ASME). You also support production and field installations by troubleshooting quality or performance issues and implementing permanent solutions.
