You will report to the Team Leader R&D, Error Proofing Solutions. The role is temporary and offered on a fixed-term contract of two years.\nYou will\nWork closely with colleagues locally and globally throughout the full development lifecycle-from requirements and implementation to releasing production-ready features\nImplement robust and maintainable backend services in C#/.NET\nContribute to the design and evolution of our distributed microservices architecture; experience with cloud-native architectures, containerization (Docker), and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is beneficial\nDevelop solutions used across industries to support assembly processes, quality control, and error prevention-your work may empower customers to build the next smartphone or car\nDesign and implement secure-by-design backend services and APIs, considering cybersecurity best practices throughout the development lifecycle\nDeliver high-quality backend services and microservices with a focus on clean, scalable, and maintainable code\nDrive architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical direction and platform evolution\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions\nEnsure application performance, stability, and reusability across components and services\nEnsure solutions meet security, reliability, and maintainability requirements throughout the software lifecycle\n\nTo succeed, you will need\nA university degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable field\n5+ years of professional software development experience, including experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications using C#/.NET\nFamiliarity with microservices, distributed architectures, and message-based communication\nSolid understanding of application security, secure coding practices, authentication and authorization mechanisms, API security, and vulnerability mitigation\nA strong understanding of clean architecture, testing, CI/CD, and reusable components\nEnglish language proficiency; German is a plus\nA proactive, collaborative mindset and enjoyment of working in agile teams\nWe encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement.
