You will report to Software Manager, Applications\nYou will\nDesign, implement, and maintain automated test cases primarily using Python and C# to ensure comprehensive test coverage across software components.\nExtend and enhance the regression test frameworks to improve test reliability, scalability, and maintainability.\nExecute automated and manual tests within Azure DevOps and TeamCity environments, integrating seamlessly with our CI/CD pipeline.\nContribute proactively to continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on software security enhancements and leveraging cloud-based development tools within Azure.\nDevelop test suites for cross-platform software targeting Windows and Linux, including resource-constrained embedded systems, ensuring compatibility and performance.\nMeticulously document all testing procedures, results, and best practices to maintain transparency and knowledge sharing.\nStay informed on evolving software testing techniques, tools, and industry best practices to continually elevate the quality of our software testing processes.\nCollaborate effectively within an Agile Scrum team environment, following defined processes to deliver high-quality software iterations.\nEngage with cross-functional teams including software development, product management, and quality assurance to align testing strategies with business objectives.\nOccasionally travel to other Atlas Copco and customer sites across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the US to support testing and product deployment activities.\nTo succeed, you will need\nWe encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.\nProven proficiency in automated testing and development of test frameworks, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExtensive experience with Python and C# programming languages, including a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.\nHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and TeamCity, including pipeline integration and test execution management.\nDemonstrated ability to develop software for cross-platform environments, with expertise in Windows and Linux systems;
