Guide testing inhouse and on site for novel solutions, resolving problems as they arise, provide intended test data and reports from experimental design and then determine necessary next actions from the results, making appropriate recommendations.\nEnsureefficient support on the commitment of Engineering related topics on supply chain, in-house manufacturing process and aftermarket.\nDevelops innovativeideas and solutions to improve practices and procedures within the technical team and overall project team. Provides technical guidance/supervision to less experienced staff.\n\nStandards & Compliance: Ensure product portfolio continuously meets legislative, industrial, and corporate standards through design, safety review and certification processes. Act as key initiator ofkey technical documentation.\nTeamwork: Develop positive relationships to promote collaboration among multifunctional teams to rapidly identify, assessand develop viable class leading products which deliver profitable growth. Support and guide the other departments in their technical needs. Implement and safeguard the business code of practice in all areas under direct control and actively review and audit for compliance.\nDrive and support dedicated project tasks carried out by multiple PCs within Atlas Copco Group.\nTo succeed, you will need\nEducation\nDegree in aMechanicalEngineering or Science discipline.\nExperience, competence and knowledge\nExperience in the area of new product development and technical support. \nExperience in oil injected technology(vacuum pump or compressor). \nExperience in a number of the following areas; heat transfer and thermodynamics, rotating element bearings, lubrication systems, electric motors, gearboxes, small clearance mechanisms, vacuum technology\nExcellent level of project management competence and collaboration among mutifunctional team members.\nKnowledge on basic electrical design, manufacturing processes and supply chains.\nCompetence on definition and implementation of product validation/verification via experimental techniques, risk assessments, mathematical modelling analysis and CAE simulations.\nLanguage\nFluency in reading/written English, competence of communication with international English speakers.\nOthers\nSufficient business/commercial awareness to make appropriate proposals to balance potentially conflicting commercial and technical drivers.\nInfluencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills, both internally and externally.
