Fixed Term Contract\nLocation: London\nSalary: Up to £60,000\nContract: 3-6 Month Fixed Term Contract\nAbout the Role\nAtlas Workplace Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join us on a 3-6 month fixed term contract, supporting the successful delivery of projects across a key London contract.\nReporting into the PMO, you’ll take ownership of projects from initial planning through to completion and handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.\nThis is a hands-on role where you’ll coordinate contractors, suppliers, design teams and site stakeholders while ensuring projects comply with Atlas processes, client requirements and relevant health and safety regulations.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage projects from initial planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover, following Atlas project frameworks, governance and site-specific processes.\nDevelop and manage project programmes, budgets, resources and cost controls, ensuring agreed timescales, quality standards and financial targets are achieved.\nCoordinate suppliers, subcontractors, CAD/design teams and site resources, ensuring works meet technical, safety and customer requirements.\nManage all project Health & Safety and CDM requirements, including RAMS, permits to work and associated project documentation.\nProcure materials and products accurately and in line with client specifications, project requirements and budgets.\nAttend and lead pre-start, progress and handover meetings, maintaining clear actions, reporting and project documentation.\nBuild strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, contractors and operational site teams, acting as the key point of contact throughout project delivery.\nCoordinate design requirements, site drawings and O&M manuals, ensuring project records remain accurate and up to date.\nManage defects and reactive works associated with project delivery through to satisfactory resolution.\nMonitor project performance, identify risks and drive improvements in quality, delivery, safety and environmental performance.\nEnsure Atlas procedures and client requirements are consistently followed, maintaining a professional and high-quality customer experience.\nAbout You\nWe’re looking for a confident and organised Project Manager with experience managing projects within a building services, facilities management, engineering or similar operational environment.\nYou’ll be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and contractors, with strong knowledge of project governance, cost management and health and safety requirements.\nYou’ll bring a practical, delivery-focused approach and be confident taking ownership of projects from start to finish.\nAbout You\nMinimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required\nGSCE in English and Maths or Equivalent\nAccredited to a health and safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH, General Cert or IOSH managing safely\nPRINCE2 and /or equivalent PM qualifications\nSite management and safety accreditation SMST/SSSTS\nAsbestos awareness qualification (Desirable)\nFirst aid certificate (Emergency first aid at work as a minimum)\nEssential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role\nExperience in managing project work and delivering strategic tasks.\nProven successes in CDM governed projects.\nCommunicate effectively through both written and spoken word.\nAble to articulate complex design and construction solutions to Non professionals in that field.\nBe customer facing at all times.\nAbility to produce cost models that satisfies the commercial and business requirements.\nAbility to use Microsoft office suite (Including MS Projects).\nExperience using AutoCAD.
