The VP of Technology and Data will architect and manage the platform that makes that possible.\nThis role suits someone who thrives in ambiguity and builds structure in a fast-moving, start-up context. In this role, you will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to understand user needs, develop a technology and data roadmap, and execute alongside Atlas and partner oncology practice teams. In the immediate term, you will also act as an independent contributor / builder to support execution of the data and product strategy. In addition to leading “data and insights as a product,” you will also be charged with recruiting and managing a team that supports daily technology operations and information security. Across these priorities, your mandate will be to accelerate adoption of AI tools by both the corporate and clinic-based teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnology and Data Strategy\nBuild a short and long-term technology and data roadmap and use Atlas' core competencies to drive build-versus-buy decisions.\n\nArchitect the data warehouse and reporting infrastructure supporting corporate outcome measures and continuous improvement.\n\nDesign and maintain the data feeds required for an intelligent value-based care operation, in close partnership with Atlas' interoperability and data warehouse vendors.\n\nEnsure that Atlas is leveraging modern AI tools to power its tech and data infrastructure.\n\n Daily Technology Operations\nCode and deploy data pipelines (ETL/ELT) directly, and serve as interim DBA as you build the team.\n\nLead the team spanning IT and information security, data engineering, help desk, and EMR specialists.\n\nSet direction and accountability for day-to-day technology issues - outages, vendor escalations, security threats, SLA breaches - with the Director of IT and Information Security owning execution.\n\nPartner-Facing\nChampion the technology vision internally, to the board, and to current and prospective partners.\n\nServe as the face of Atlas technology with practice partners from diligence through implementation and run-rate operations.\n\nSupport implementation for new payer and provider clients.\n\nReporting: This role will report to the President\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\n\n5-10 years of experience in healthcare IT, Data, and/or Product leadership\n\nBasic competency as both a data engineer and data warehouse administrator with a history of prior healthcare deployments\n\nFluency with modern AI solutions\n\nExperience with product strategy, build versus buy, and user needs research\n\nPrior expertise managing and contracting key technology vendors\n\nStrong organizational skills with high attention to detail\n\nProficient in performing data analyses in Excel, summarizing executive-friendly output in PowerPoint, including performance dashboards\n\nAbility to think critically, problem-solve, and translate ideas into action\n\nSelf-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Experience in a high growth startup\n· Experience in outpatient value-based care primary care\n· Experience working with Claude CODE CLI / IDE Extension via Claude API\nSome of the benefits of our comprehensive benefits package includes:\n· Health, Dental, Vision insurance\n· Competitive pay\n· Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave\nYou will collaborate with like-minded health care professionals who, like you, understand the importance and value of Atlas’ high-quality, value-based care model.\nAtlas is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
