It is not available for any work sponsorship.\nOur paid internship program runs for 12 weeks between May/June - August/September 2027\nYour Future Team\nDoes the challenge of scaling a fast-growing company by powering it with data, reporting, and analytics excite you? Using your business instincts and creativity, you will support a market-leading product with nuanced analysis, relevant insights, and recommendations.\nWhat you'll do\nDevelop data-driven hypothesis to identify new opportunities and apply rigorous statistical methodology to evaluate product experiments, feature rollouts and user behavior\n\nPartner cross-functionally with data science, data engineering and business teams to translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations\n\nAnalyze rich user interaction and telemetry datasets to uncover user journey patterns, identify friction points and surface growth opportunities\n\nBuild robust data artifacts such as interactive dashboards, reproducible notebooks, or AI agents/skills that scale data backed decision-making across teams\n\nResponsibilities\nYour Background\nProficiency with SQL or other query languages and experience with Python or R for statistical computing, data analysis and predictive modeling\n\nSolid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, experimental design (A/B testing), or machine learning fundamentals\n\nExperience with data visualization tools (e.g: Tableau, Databricks, Mode or other BI platforms)\n\nFamiliarity with modern AI tools and GenAI workflows (e.g., LLM APIs, AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, or building AI agents/skills)\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to convey quantitative insights to both technical and non-technical teammates\n\nAvailability & Program Commitment: Able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40hrs/week) program during Summer 2027\n\nEnrollment & Eligibility: Currently enrolled full-time in a Masters degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by August 2028\n\nQualifications\nCompensation\nZone A: $53/hr - $59/hr\nZone B: $47/hr - $53/hr\nZone C: $44/hr - $49/hr\nAbout Atlassian\nAt Atlassian, we're motivated by a common goal: to unleash the potential of every team.
