Software Engineer to own critical platform capabilities, lead complex initiatives, and raise the engineering bar across the team.\nResponsibilities\nLead ambiguous, cross-component initiatives from technical design through rollout and measurement.\n\nDesign and build scalable agent runtimes, backend services, APIs, and developer-platform capabilities.\n\nEstablish stable contracts that allow teams to ship agents without depending on platform releases.\n\nMake architectural decisions involving distributed execution, state, recovery, security, and extensibility.\n\nLead migrations and high-risk changes with appropriate compatibility and rollout strategies.\n\nImprove reliability through observability, capacity planning, incident response, and systemic follow-up.\n\nInfluence technical direction, mentor engineers, and improve code and design-review practices.\n\nPartner with product, AI, security, and infrastructure teams on cross-team outcomes.\n\nQualifications\nStrong experience designing and operating distributed systems, developer platforms, or high-availability services.\n\nProficiency in a language such as TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.\n\nA track record of owning complex systems from design through production operations.\n\nStrong understanding of asynchronous execution, consistency, retries, fault tolerance, and observability.\n\nExperience writing technical designs, leading difficult decisions, and resolving production issues.\n\nAbility to influence across teams and mentor other engineers.\n\nExperience with agent runtimes, MCP, plugin ecosystems, durable workflows, sandboxed execution, or AI evaluation and observability is highly
