To help our teams work together effectively, this role is fully remote, but requires you to be located in Japan.\nYour future team\nThe globally distributed Atlassian Advisory Services team partners with strategic and enterprise customers to solve complex business challenges and maximize the value of their Atlassian investment. As a Senior Solution Consultant on the Advisory Services Delivery team, you will provide strategic technical guidance, influence senior stakeholders, and help customers achieve meaningful business outcomes at scale.\nResponsibilities\nWhat you'll do\nCollaborate with peers across Advisory Services to align on strategic outcomes and deliver exceptional service to customers\n\nPartner with customers to solve complex business challenges and help them achieve their goals through Atlassian products, practices, and solutions\n\nLead strategic customer conversations that connect business priorities, operating models, and technical solution direction\n\nIdentify and promote opportunities for service and product expansion within a customer’s organization\n\nCultivate deep industry and solution expertise, staying current with evolving best practices that support different types of teams\n\nCreate high-value technical solution content and prescriptive guidance to support customer goals and outcomes across one or more Atlassian solution areas\n\nPartner with non-customer-facing teams across Atlassian to advocate for customer needs and innovative solutions that address business drivers\n\nProvide senior-level guidance on platform architecture, adoption strategy, and value realization across complex customer environments\n\nMentor peers through knowledge sharing, quality contribution, and role modeling of strong consulting practices\n\nTravel occasionally, domestically and internationally, for customer meetings and internal events\n\nYour background\n8+ years of experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments\n\n5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles where you have engaged with and influenced customer stakeholders ranging from technical administrators to executive leadership\n\nDemonstrated success working with large strategic or enterprise customers in a consulting, advisory, or technical expert capacity\n\nDemonstrated hands-on technical experience configuring, integrating, or troubleshooting enterprise software solutions, with the ability to validate recommendations through direct technical work\n\nStrong ability to translate technical capabilities into executive-relevant business outcomes and recommendations\n\nProven ability to influence solution direction in ambiguous or fast-changing customer environments\n\nNative-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency\n\nIt’s nice if you are\nExperienced with our Cloud Platform, including:\nAdministration of Atlassian Cloud ecosystems, including applications such as Guard, Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Focus, Rovo, and related products\n\nBackground in SaaS-based architectures, integration methods, and associated security considerations\n\nCloud migrations at varying customer scales, including expertise with migration utilities and hybrid SaaS and on-premise deployment models\n\nExperienced with our Data Center Platform, including:\nAdministration of Atlassian Data Center ecosystems, including applications such as Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Crowd, and related products\n\nBackground in cloud and hybrid architectures, integration methods, and associated security considerations\n\nComfortable coaching best practices and tailoring curated guidance for stakeholders to facilitate those practices\n\nExperienced working on cross-team projects, engaging with Sales, Product, Support, and other teams\n\nKnown for strong consultation skills, executive presence, and credible technical judgment\n\nQualifications\nAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs.
