You'll be building innovative solutions using a variety of technologies including Node.js, TypeScript, Puppeteer, Temporal, MongoDB, and AWS. You will play a key role in driving the development of high-quality software products and features that meet our customers' needs.\nResearch, identify, and access APIs to understand their structures, endpoints, and available data without relying on screen scraping techniques.\n\nReverse engineer web APIs when necessary, using tools like Burp Suite, Postman, or Fiddler, and conduct reconstructive analysis from a QA perspective.\n\nWrite robust, scalable code to extract relevant data from public APIs and accurately transform it into common data models and structures.\n\nDesign and implement API integrations by leveraging deep knowledge of web fundamentals-including HTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP/S, client/server architecture, and networking protocols.\n\nApply solid understanding of REST APIs, including authentication mechanisms like JWT, SAML, OAuth, and data transfer processes, to ensure seamless API interactions within various network environments.\n\nDevelop and implement solutions to handle bot detection techniques such as request throttling, device fingerprinting, and CAPTCHA mitigation.\n\nBreak down the development of products and features into manageable, iterative releases, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.\n\nDocument findings and collaborate effectively with development teams through excellent written and verbal communication.\n\nWork autonomously and self-direct while thriving in a team environment.\n\nTake ownership throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including QA, build, deployment, and support of production systems.\n\nQualifications and Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience\n\nMinimum of 3 years of software development experience as a full-stack engineer, focusing on building web applications using Node.js and TypeScript, with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks\n\nFamiliarity with agile development practices and version control systems like Git.\n\nTakes personal accountability for delivering strong results by being self-directed, willing to take initiative, pragmatic, and results-oriented\n\nHas keen attention to detail and wants to solve really hard problems, not just detect them\n\nAble to learn large software systems end-to-end quickly\n\nAbout Atomic Financial:\nAt Atomic, we're building financial connectivity that enables the fintech and financial services ecosystem to connect consumers to the data in their payroll accounts, drive conversions of direct deposit linked products, verify income and employment history in real-time, update the card-on-file in merchants, and manage their subscriptions and bills.\nWe believe consumers should be able to easily share their own payroll data to improve their financial outcomes.
