Founded by Jeff Holden - serial entrepreneur, ex-Amazon SVP and Uber’s first Chief Product Officer - the company has raised $250 million to date.\nAtomic Machines is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with offices in Emeryville and Santa Clara.\nAbout The Role:\nAs a Manufacturing Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packing a variety of mechanical assemblies using hand tools and bench top equipment.\nThis role is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension based on business needs.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nFollow assembly procedures and work instructions with attention to details.\nVerify the integrity of materials to be assembled according to the assembly procedure and/or work instruction.\nAssemble components in specific orders, using the proper tooling and equipment specified in the procedures / work instruction instructions.\nVisual inspection of components and/or assembly according to procedure / work instruction.\nIdentify and report defective components.\nEnsure the accuracy of work-in-process associated with the work cell.\nMaintain cleanliness in your work area and surrounding workspace.\nFulfill any other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nKnowledge of ISO9001.\nAbility to use various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters tools like torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers.\nAbility to work effectively as a team member.\nStrong ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.\nProficiency in reading procedures, interpreting visual aids, and following mechanical and electrical drawings.\nPrecision mechanical component placement and assembly.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent education.\nBonus: experience in gloveboxes and working under a microscope with small parts.\nHourly Rate Range\n$35—$40 USD\n Atomic Machines is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and does not discriminate based on characteristics protected by applicable law.
