Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

We're seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript, and HTML. The ideal candidate should have experience building modern, high-performance web applications and a proven record of open-source contributions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable frontend components using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with design, backend, and product teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Optimise frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, reusable code following modern best practices.
• Contribute to open-source projects or maintain public repositories.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Stay updated on the latest frontend trends and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-6 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6/ES7), HTML5 and CSS3
• Hands-on experience with Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Git workflows, and build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc).
• Mandatory: Demonstrated open-source contributions (GitHub or similar).
• Strong grasp of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and performance optimisation.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, or Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Cloud environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
