We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.\nIf you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.\nWhat you’ll do\nProject Delivery & Site Execution\nOversee the end-to-end construction of new developments-with a focus on roadside QSR drive-thrus and EVC hubs-as well as modernisations across the existing real estate portfolio.\nDevelop, manage, and track project schedules and critical path milestones to ensure timely delivery across multiple concurrent schemes.\nConduct regular site visits, job walks, and pre-construction due diligence activities to verify site conditions and progress.\nTroubleshoot constructability, sequencing, and inspection issues on-site to resolve blockers quickly and prevent project delays.\nUtility & Stakeholder Management\nManage relationships and day-to-day coordination with external consultants, principal contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.\nLead the on-site sequencing and scheduling of utility companies to secure timely power, water, and telecom connections-critical for EVC and drive-thru operations.\nCommercial & Financial Control\nAssist with budget planning, cost monitoring, and financial control across assigned projects.\nReview, verify, and process contractor valuations and payment applications to ensure compliance with contractual terms.\nQuality, Compliance & Safety\nEnforce rigorous Health & Safety standards across all active sites in line with UK statutory regulations and internal policies.\nConduct quality assurance checks to ensure all works conform to corporate specifications, design standards, and operational requirements.\nReporting & Administration\nProvide regular project status, budget, and risk reporting to senior leadership.\nCoordinate project administration, including site meetings, contract documentation, and handover processes.\nWhat we’re looking for\nExperience & Qualifications\n3-5 years of relevant experience in construction management, ideally within retail, hospitality, roadside QSR, or F&B developments.\nProfessional accreditation: RICS, CIOB, or MAPM membership (or actively working towards chartered status) is highly desirable.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field preferred.\nFull UK driving licence due to site travel.\nTechnical & Commercial Skills\nCommercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and sound commercial judgment when managing contracts, suppliers, and budgets.\nMulti-Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, navigate competing priorities, and deliver to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nAnalytical Problem-Solving: A pragmatic approach to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex constructability and operational challenges.\nSoft Skills & Working Style\nCommunication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from site teams to executive leadership.\nAutonomy & Collaboration: A collaborative team player who can take ownership, show initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.\nAdaptability: Highly organized, resilient, and comfortable adapting to changing priorities across a dynamic operational footprint.\nWhy join us\nAt Atoms, you’ll work on one of the defining challenges of our time-bringing automation into the physical world to drive real, lasting impact.
