We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of our clients. \nJob Description\nAs an Electro Mechanical Technician at Lab37 Robotics, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and supporting the production of advanced robotic food production systems. This role is hands-on and requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with mechanical and electrical assemblies, and the ability to follow documented work instructions accurately and consistently. You will work closely with engineering teams to build systems, improve assembly processes, identify quality issues, and help ensure that products are assembled safely, correctly, and repeatably. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in high-quality builds, and wants to grow within a fast-moving robotics manufacturing environment. \nWhat you'll do\nAssemble electro-mechanical systems, subassemblies, and components according to work instructions, drawings, checklists, and standard operating procedures. \nPerform mechanical assembly, wiring, harness routing, fluid routing, sensor installation, actuator installation, and other hands-on build tasks. \nFollow established quality checks and test procedures to verify that assemblies are complete, accurate, and functioning as intended. \nWork closely with the Lead Factory Technician to clarify instructions, resolve build issues, and support production priorities. \nIdentify and communicate documentation gaps, recurring assembly issues, missing tools, part problems, and opportunities to improve build quality or efficiency. \nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly handling tools, equipment, parts, and in-progress assemblies. \nSupport troubleshooting, rework, service, and checkout activities as needed during system builds and production transitions. \nAccurately document work completed, issues found, test results, and any deviations from standard procedures. \nWhat we are looking for\nHands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, manufacturing, robotics, automation, equipment assembly, field service, or a related technical environment. \nAbility to follow work instructions, assembly procedures, checklists, and technical documentation with strong attention to detail. \nBasic ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, labels, and assembly documentation. \nExperience with common hand tools, power tools, torque tools, crimping tools, meters, and basic shop or production equipment.\nComfortable performing mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, cable routing, basic troubleshooting, and system-level checks. \nStrong communication skills and willingness to ask questions, flag issues early, and collaborate with technicians, engineering, operations, and quality teams. \nReliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and consistency. \nInterest in robotics, automation, food production technology, or advanced manufacturing is a plus.\nWhat else you need to know\nOur work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and fulfilling work.
