We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of our clients.\nWhat you’ll do\nAs a Hardware Test Engineer at Lab37 Robotics, you will design, execute, and automate tests that prove out our system per NSF requirements and are reliable, and durable in real kitchens. You’ll translate food safety standard and operational best practices into clear test requirements, build fixtures and rigs (often with Raspberry Pi/Arduino or similar), and instrument systems with temperature, humidity, and other environmental sensors. Your work will uncover failure modes, validate component lifecycles, and drive design improvements that elevate product quality and guest experience.\nResponsibilities\nConvert food safety and regulatory requirements into testable specifications, acceptance criteria, and traceable test plans/protocols.\nDesign and build test fixtures/rigs using Raspberry Pi/Arduino (or similar) for sensor logging, control, and automation.\nExecute environmental, thermal, humidity, ingress, cleaning/chemical exposure, wear/abrasion, and lifecycle/MTBF tests; analyze results and document findings.\nDevelop automated data-logging and reporting for temperature/humidity profiles, duty cycles, etc.\nRun component and subsystem endurance testing (motors, augers, valves, seals, electronics) to characterize failure modes and recommend design or supplier changes.\nPartner with engineering and supply chain to resolve issues and conduct root-cause analysis.\nMaintain lab safety, calibration, and test asset management; publish test reports.\nWhat we’re looking for\n3+ years in hardware/product validation or test engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience) with proven fixture building and lab skills.\nHands-on with Raspberry Pi/Arduino or similar, integrating temperature/humidity and related sensors.\nExperience designing and executing environmental and lifecycle tests (thermal/humidity, ingress/cleaning exposure, durability).\nWhy join us\nDemand for online food delivery is growing really fast! That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.\nThe base salary range for this role is$120,000 - $170,000 per year.\nActual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package.
