We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.\nIf you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.\nWhat you’ll do\n\nWe’re seeking a HPC Network Engineer to join our founding team who will design and run the high-performance network that connects our GPU compute - building a fast, reliable fabric today and the architecture to scale it as our cluster grows.\nDesign, optimize, and scale the high-performance network fabric that interconnects our GPU and CPU compute.\nBuild the low-latency networking that keeps our training and simulation workloads fed and fast.\nOwn capacity planning and lead network projects end to end, from design through deployment.\nPartner with vendors to select and engineer switches that set us up for the next stage of compute growth.\nDevelop scripts and processes that automate network operations and increase efficiency.\nCollaborate across the infrastructure team to solve cross-discipline problems with immediate operational impact.\nWhat we’re looking for\nExperience designing, deploying, and scaling networks for HPC or GPU compute environments.\nHands-on experience managing switches across platforms such as Arista (EOS), Cisco (NX-OS), Nvidia (Cumulus), and/or SONiC.\nSolid capacity-planning and project-management skills, with the judgment to scale as we grow.\nPacket decoding/analysis (tcpdump, Wireshark) and knowledge of fiber optics and high-speed cabling up to 800 Gbps.\nFamiliarity with public cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure) and config management (Ansible, Salt).\nFamiliarity with Python, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and GitHub; awareness of data center power and cooling.\nMeticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication.\nWhy join us\nAt Atoms, you’ll work on one of the defining challenges of our time - bringing automation into the physical world to drive real, lasting impact. Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.\nThe base salary range for this role is$224,000 - $284,000 per year.\nActual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package.
