Working closely with experienced planners, project teams, clients, design partners, contractors, and suppliers, you will help ensure planning information is accurate, consistent, and up to date.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in project planning and controls while gaining experience across different stages of complex projects and programmes.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the development, maintenance, and optimisation of detailed project schedules using MS Project.\nAssist with integrating contractor and supplier schedules into the overall project programme.\nMonitor progress, milestones, dependencies, and schedule variances, escalating potential issues to senior planning colleagues.\nSupport weekly and monthly reporting, including progress updates, milestone performance, critical path information, and schedule risks.\nWork with project teams and stakeholders to maintain accurate planning information and support effective baseline and change control.\nSkills we can’t do without:\nExperience or a strong foundation in project planning, scheduling, project controls, or a related project delivery discipline.\nWorking knowledge of MS Project and an understanding of project scheduling principles.\nGood analytical skills with the ability to interpret project information, identify issues, and maintain accurate planning data.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work with colleagues and stakeholders across project teams.\nSkills we'd like\nExperience supporting projects across stages such as design, procurement, build and test, implementation, commissioning, or handover.\nAn understanding of critical path analysis, schedule risk, baseline control, and change management principles.\nAdditional Requirements\nCandidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC clearance.\nLocation: UK-based.
