Atos Group is listed on Euronext Paris.\nGeospatial Solution & Data Architect\nExperience: 12+ years overall\nRelevant Experience: 5+ years\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced GIS Solution Architect / Geospatial Architect to support the design and implementation of an enterprise-grade GIS platform.\nThe architect will be responsible for designing the interactive mapping platform and future GIS analytics capabilities, integrating GIS with enterprise applications and existing geospatial platforms, and establishing a scalable geospatial data architecture. The role will initially focus on interactive maps, spatial data integration and data readiness, with the architecture designed to support future GIS analytics, spatial intelligence and location-based applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign the overall GIS solution architecture for interactive mapping and future spatial analytics capabilities.\nDesign GIS applications using platforms such as ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Online /ArcGIS Experience Builder, while evaluating/working with alternatives such as Azure Maps and Mapbox where appropriate.\nAssess existing ArcGIS environments and enterprise applications to identify reusable datasets, services, APIs and geospatial layers.\nDefine the approach for data discovery, extraction, transformation, integration and migration from enterprise systems into the new GIS platform.\nDesign GIS data integration architecture using FME or equivalent GIS integration/ETL tools.\nWork with enterprise architects and data teams to define integration patterns between GIS, enterprise applications, APIs and data platforms.\nDefine geospatial data models, feature classes, layers, relationships and spatial data structures required for GIS applications and analytics.\nCollaborate with the analytics team to translate analytical requirements into appropriate GIS data models and spatial analytical solutions.\nDesign architecture for future spatial analytics, location intelligence and GIS-based decision-support capabilities.\nAssess the suitability of Microsoft Fabric / Data Lake / Lakehouse as the enterprise data platform for GIS and analytical workloads.\nDefine data flows between Microsoft Fabric, GIS platforms, enterprise applications and analytical solutions.\nEnsure GIS architecture supports scalability, security, performance, API integration and future expansion.\nProvide technical guidance to GIS developers, data engineers, integration teams and analytical teams.\nMandatory Technical Skills:\n12+ years of overall IT experience.\n5+ years of hands-on experience in GIS solution architecture / GIS application design.\nStrong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Pro.\nExperience designing interactive web GIS / mapping applications.\nStrong understanding of GIS architecture, spatial data architecture and GIS application components.\nStrong experience with FME or equivalent GIS ETL/integration tools.\nExperience integrating GIS with enterprise applications, APIs and databases.\nExperience with GIS data modeling and spatial database concepts.\nExperience defining GIS analytical / spatial analytics solutions.\nAbility to evaluate and integrate geospatial platforms such as ArcGIS, Azure Maps, Mapbox or equivalent.\nGood to Have\nMicrosoft Fabric / OneLake / Lakehouse experience.\nAzure Data Factory / Azure Data Platform.\nPostGIS / PostgreSQL / SQL Server / Oracle Spatial.\nArcGIS REST API / Feature Services / Map Services.\nPython for geospatial data processing.\nPower BI / Fabric analytics.\nExperience with cloud-based GIS architecture.\nExperience with large-scale enterprise data integration.\nHere at Atos, diversity and inclusion are embedded in our DNA.
