We share a common vision of a responsible and sustainable innovation that delivers concrete impact for our customers.\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for an HPC System & Storage Engineer to support the deployment, administration, and optimization of large-scale High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.\nIn this role, you will work with advanced compute, storage, networking, and automation technologies to ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of complex infrastructure platforms. You will collaborate with international teams and customers, contributing to the successful delivery and operation of cutting-edge HPC solutions.\nRequirement\nMust be eligible to obtain the required UK Security Clearance.\nComfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.\nWillingness to travel internationally when required to support customer engagements and project deployments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeploy, configure, and maintain large-scale HPC infrastructure environments.\nAdminister Linux-based systems and ensure their availability, security, and performance.\nManage and support enterprise storage platforms and distributed file systems.\nSupport Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads.\nAutomate operational tasks and infrastructure deployments using Ansible and related tools.\nMonitor system health, performance, and capacity using monitoring and observability solutions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, storage, and networking issues.\nSupport datacenter operations, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh activities.\nCollaborate with engineering teams and customers throughout the project lifecycle.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and best practices.\nSupport customer deployments and production environments.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.\nWhat You Bring\nExperience administering Linux environments, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Debian-based distributions.\nGood understanding of large-scale datacenter, HPC, or cloud infrastructure environments.\nKnowledge of server hardware architecture and enterprise infrastructure technologies.\nExperience with distributed and parallel file systems such as Lustre, NFS, or IBM Storage Scale (GPFS).\nUnderstanding of storage technologies including RAID, HDD, SSD, NVMe, object storage, and enterprise storage solutions.\nFamiliarity with Kubernetes and container technologies.\nExperience with automation tools such as Ansible and monitoring solutions such as Grafana.\nStrong knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP networking, and high-performance interconnect technologies such as InfiniBand, Omni-Path, or BX.\nNice to Have\nExperience with enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp or DDN.\nKnowledge of tape storage technologies, including HPSS.\nExperience supporting large-scale environments with thousands of compute nodes.\nUnderstanding of datacenter facilities, including power, cooling, racks, and cabling.\nLocation\nUnited Kingdom\nBenefits\nWorking on advanced HPC and digital infrastructure projects.\nContinuous learning and technical skill development.\nCareer growth within a global technology organisation.\nParticipation in internal initiatives and community-focused activities.\nHere, your ideas, your curiosity and your technical excellence directly shape the next era of advanced computing -
