Atos Group is listed on Euronext Paris.\nWe are looking for Mainframe Application Architect please find the JD below:\nLocation: Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai\nType of Hire: Full-Time\nMandatory Skills:\nStrong experience (15+ years) in mainframe application development with proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, IMS, ReXX, EZT etc\nExposure to hybrid architecture with both mainframe and distributed applications\nExposure to any performance tuning activities in Mainframe like API integration, monolith code componentization, SMF log analysis, Database fine-tuning etc\nUnderstanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices and working knowledge in DevOps (CI/CD)\nExperience with version control systems and software configuration management tools\nFamiliarity with testing methodologies and tools for mainframe applications\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment\nAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutions\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment\nNice to have:\nKnowledge of any modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, .NET or Python and their integration with mainframe systems\nUnderstanding the principles of AI and its application in Mainframe Modernization\nAny exposure to Mainframe Modernization principles and toolsets like Rocket, AWS Transform etc\nHere at Atos, diversity and inclusion are embedded in our DNA.
