Experience configuring Cisco Routers, Switches, SDWAN and VXLAN to predefined standards in a voice environment ensuring an 99.999% uptime. Experienced in the operational network/voice environment and using high-level functional voice systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation methodologies on complex problems.\nIn addition, your duties will consist of:\nKnowledge of the NG911 topology and associated equipment\n\nParticipating in network planning, engineering, and architecture processes.\n\nProduce and/or maintain technical and procedural documentation as directed.\n\nProvide 2nd or 3rd level support on incidents and service requests.\n\nDeploy, configure network devices based on designs and standards provided.\n\nMaximize network performance and availability by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.\n\nSecure network system by establishing and enforcing policies.\n\nSkills Required\nPossess in-depth knowledge and experience with the following platforms in IPv4 and IPv6 environments:\n\nCisco SD-WAN\n\nVersa\n\nCisco ISR and ASR Routing platforms\n\nCisco Nexus 9K Switching.\n\nCisco Catalyst Switching\n\nCisco NG Firewalls\n\nCisco ASA Firewalls\n\nVXLAN\n\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.\n\nEnsure high availability of network services through redundancy, failover configurations, and proactive maintenance.\n\nCoordinate activities among multiple groups to ensure 99.999% uptime for the organization.\n\nProvide on-call technical support after hours and on weekends as needed.\n\nDocument designs and policies associated with networks and maintain proper documentation of systems configurations.\n\nExperience with Virtualized Networks (VMware, Google Cloud Platform, Azure Cloud Platform)\n\nAbility to work as a part of a distributed team, despite the diversity (cultural, geographic and other differences)\n\nParticipate in on-call schedule and, when required, work outside of normal business hours during planned maintenance windows.\n\nLead network-related projects, from concept to deployment, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations for network improvements.\n\nImplement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.\n\nMonitor for vulnerabilities and apply patches, updates, or changes to mitigate risks.\n\nEnsure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.\n\nUnderstanding and knowledge of security NIST, CIS, or NENA\n\nManaging and working with other Managed Service Providers such as Lumen Versa.\n\nPossess clear and effective communication skills (oral and written English)\n\nExcellent email and telephone etiquette\n\n10+ years demonstrated experience in network engineering, implementing, and maintaining geographically dispersed networks.\n\n5+ years of network security experience (Firewalls, security tools, threat mitigation, etc.).\n\nDemonstrates ability to advance technologies, processes, and practices in area of specialization or discipline.\n\nDesirable: Possess Cisco CCNP, CCIE, Security and/or SDWAN certification or equivalent experience\n\nDesirable: Azure, GCP and/or VMware Certification\n\nDesirable: NG 9-1-1 networking or carrier grade voice networking\n\nThe total compensation range for this role in the posted location is $64,366.00 - $102,986.00USD.\nAtos provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
