We are looking for an Okta consultant with at least 2 years of hands-on Okta experience, focused mainly on advisory and consultancy rather than routine ticket handling.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess customer IAM requirements and existing Okta environments.
- Design and advise on SSO, federation, MFA, lifecycle management and application integrations.
- Support discovery workshops, technical discussions, solution design and implementation planning.
- Identify risks, gaps, dependencies and improvement opportunities proactively.
- Prepare technical recommendations, documentation, scope assumptions and effort estimates.
- Work with customers, architects, application owners, security and service teams.
Required knowledge:
- Strong practical knowledge of OIDC, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, SSO, MFA, authentication and authorization.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications with Okta.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot authentication and federation flows.
- Strong customer communication, ownership and advisory skills.
The role requires a proactive, solution-oriented person who can work independently, challenge unclear requirements and guide customers toward secure and practical Okta solutions.
