Across the world, the Group enables its customers and employees, and members of societies at large to live, work and develop sustainably, in a safe and secure information space.\nWe are seeking a highly experienced SAP MDG Architect to lead the design, implementation and enhancement of enterprise Master Data Governance solutions, with a strong focus on SAP MDG-M (Material Master) and integration with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.\nThe ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable SAP MDG solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Material Master governance processes, data quality management, workflow design, system integration and cross-functional collaboration in global environments.\nThe SAP MDG Architect will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment and ongoing optimization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIdentifying, interpreting, validating and documenting customer requirements.\nFacilitating workshops to gather business and technical requirements and workshops for solution validation.\nProviding functional and technical expertise for the planning, design, implementation and testing of functional and technical features for SAP Material Master in the product/system/solution business in relation to MDG-M and related applications such as PLM (Teamcenter & Oracle Agile) with complex bill of materials structures, including external supplier catalogues.\nPreparation and review of cost estimates for customer requirements in connection with RFPs and RFQs for new implementations and enhancements.\nDevelopment of solution concepts based on standard MM and MDG functionalities such as central governance, consolidation and mass processing, data quality management, as well as various customer-specific enhancements (complex material maintenance workflows with interfaces to PLM, various UI customizations, data model extensions, multiple validations and derivations).\nPlanning and executing solution implementation in parallel (dependencies).\nPlanning and monitoring development, configuration, integration, testing and data migration across various global support teams.\nCreating documentation in accordance with the relevant methods and tools (Jira or Solution Manager).\nDeveloping templates for the client’s decision-makers at team lead level, as well as delivering client/user presentations and workshops in English and German within your area of responsibility.\nBuilding expertise in innovative business or technological topics, as well as actively contributing to Atos’s internal knowledge management.\nProactively identifying business opportunities within the current project and providing technical input for related sales activities.\nActing as a link between the business functions and the technical team.\nProviding ad hoc training and user support as required.\nWorking independently and on your own initiative.\nMandatory skills:\nSAP MDG-M (Material Master Governance)\nSAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC\nSAP Material Master (MM)\nSAP Workflow\nSAP Fiori\nSAP Business Partner Framework\nSAP Data Quality Management\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nExtensive hands-on experience with SAP MDG implementations, including architecture responsibilities.\nProven expertise in SAP MDG-M (Material Master Governance).\nExperience working in large-scale, international SAP transformation programs.\nStrong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance principles.\nDemonstrated experience in solution architecture, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.\nFluent English (written and spoken).\nProfessional German language skills are highly preferred.\nAbility to facilitate workshops, presentations, and stakeholder discussions in an international environment.\nHere at Atos, diversity and inclusion are embedded in our DNA.
