In this role, you will manage and optimise PostgreSQL and MySQL/MariaDB databases across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).\nYou will be working in a multinational environment, supporting enterprise-scale systems and contributing to cloud migration and automation initiatives.\nYour responsibilities\nProvide L3 support for PostgreSQL / MySQL / MariaDB environments (on-prem & cloud)\nDiagnose and resolve performance and availability issues\nMaintain and upgrade database environments and clusters\nManage high availability and replication solutions\nPerform database migrations (on-prem → cloud)\nAutomate DBA activities using Python, Ansible, or Terraform\nManage backup and restore processes (e.g. Barman, Networker)\nSupport database provisioning and deployments\nCollaborate with internal teams and customers\nCreate and maintain technical documentation (HLD / LLD)\nWhat we expect\n5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL/MariaDB administration (on-prem)\n3+ years of experience in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)\nExperience with:PostgreSQL / MySQL clusters and tools (pgbouncer, pgpool, HAProxy)\nDatabase backup and recovery\nDatabase installation, upgrades (minor & major)\nData migration tools (pgdump, pg_restore, mysqldump, etc.)\n\nKnowledge of monitoring and performance tuning\nHands-on experience with replication and HA solutions\nExperience with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform)\nNice to have\nKnowledge of PITR (Point-in-Time Recovery) and continuous archiving\nCloud certifications (Azure AZ-900, AWS CCP, GCP Digital Leader)\nPython certification (PCEP)\nEDB PostgreSQL certification\nWhy join us?\nWork in a global, multicultural environment\nAccess to cutting-edge cloud and database technologies\nOpportunity to work on large-scale, enterprise projects\nContinuous development and certification support\nFlexible work model\nHere at Atos, diversity and inclusion are embedded in our DNA.
