You will act as a key planning interface between the client, design partners, contractors and suppliers, ensuring plans are robust, integrated and aligned with client requirements.\nYou will use schedule analysis, reporting and risk insights to identify issues early, support informed decision-making and help keep programme delivery on track.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, manage and optimise detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, integrating contractor and supplier schedules into a single master programme.\nOversee planning throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation and design through procurement, build and test, implementation/commissioning and handover.\nMonitor progress, analyse schedule variances and critical paths, and develop timely recovery and mitigation strategies.\nAct as the primary planning liaison for the client, leading programme plan reviews with client representatives, design partners and contractors and providing clear, data-driven insights.\nProduce weekly and monthly planning reports covering progress and milestone performance, while maintaining baseline control, effective change management and visibility of schedule risks, constraints and interdependencies.\nSkills we can’t do without\nStrong experience in project planning, scheduling and project controls.\nExpert-level capability in Microsoft Project.\nStrong analytical skills, including schedule variance, critical path, risk and dependency analysis.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence reporting to senior client stakeholders.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.\nSkills we'd like\nExperience integrating contractor and supplier schedules into complex master programmes.\nExperience implementing robust planning standards and supporting schedule inputs into wider project risk management.\nAdditional Requirements\nCandidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC clearance.\nLocation: UK-based.
