Across the world, the Group enables its customers and employees, and members of societies at large to live, work and develop sustainably, in a safe and secure information space.\nWe are looking for a Solution Architect with 5+ years of architectural experience, strong leadership capabilities and fluent English, who is ready to fully dedicate to solution architecture ownership in complex, business-critical environments.\nThis role sits at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise architecture and AI-enabled solutions.\nWe are explicitly looking for generalist architects - individuals capable of designing holistic solutions across multiple IT domains - rather than narrow, highly technical or implementation-focused data specialists.\nYou will work on strategic initiatives for a global leader in the maritime transport industry.\nWhat you will be responsible for:\nOwn solution architecture from problem framing to target design, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and enterprise strategy.\nPartner with senior business and IT stakeholders to challenge requirements, clarify objectives and co-create optimal solutions.\nDesign, document and defend end-to-end solution architectures (TADs), including key decisions, trade-offs and risks.\nDefine architectures that are scalable, resilient, secure and future-ready, aligned with technology roadmaps and standards.\nLead architecture topics across multiple domains (applications, integrations, data, platforms, AI use cases).\nAct as an architectural leader and mentor, setting direction and influencing teams without line management.\nEnsure strong handover to delivery teams and support implementation at an architectural level (without hands-on coding).\nDrive architectural governance, quality and consistency across initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities to embed AI, automation and intelligent decisioning within enterprise solutions.\nContribute to the evolution of architecture practices, frameworks, tooling and ways of working.\nRequired experience & mindset\nProven experience as Solution Architect / Lead Architect / Enterprise Architect in complex, multi-system environments.\nAbility to operate at a strategic and conceptual level, not limited to one technology or domain.\nStrong understanding of modern data architectures, including medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) from a design and governance perspective.\nExperience designing event-driven architectures, with architectural exposure to Kafka in enterprise-scale ecosystems.\nSolid understanding of system integration patterns (APIs, events, workflows, orchestration).\nHands-off but delivery-aware: able to guide teams without performing operational or development tasks.\nDemonstrated leadership behaviors: ownership, decision-making, influence without authority.\nHigh business acumen and excellent communication skills.\nGood understanding of AI concepts and enterprise AI adoption (e.g. AI-enabled platforms, automation, data-driven intelligence).\nEnglish at minimum B2 level.\nNice to have\nExperience designing solutions in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).\nFamiliarity with enterprise integration and messaging platforms.\nExposure to architecture governance models and frameworks.\nExperience working in large, global, matrix organizations.\nWillingness to travel occasionally (1-2 trips per year to Marseille).\nFrench language.\nWhat's in it for you?\nCourses and certifications (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, ITIL)\nWellbeing programs & work-life balance - integration and passion-sharing events\nPrivate medical and dental care\nFamily-friendly offices: Supporting working parents\nBenefits platform - shopping, cinema, sport, etc.\nCo-funding of sport activities (e.g., Multisport & OK system cards, b-active program)\nConferences and expert communities\nGift packages for special occasions: Easter, Christmas, Children’s Day\nAppreciation for seniority: additional days off, Atos Jubilee gifts\nCharity and eco initiatives\nHybrid working mode (max. 2 times per month in the office, based on your location)\nYour benefits could vary depending on the employment contract type.\nHere at Atos, diversity and inclusion are embedded in our DNA.
