This on-site leadership position will directly oversee the day-to-day corporate financial infrastructure and operational cost accounting that keeps our nationwide training footprint airborne.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonth-End Close & Consolidated Reporting: Drive the complete full-cycle closing process. Manage multi-entity consolidations for all flight training centers.\nManagement Accounting & Cost Analysis: Analyze cost drivers across all operations and provide actionable financial insights to corporate leadership.\nFixed Assets: Oversee the capital asset ledger, focusing on fixed assets, including aircraft, leaseholds and simulators.\nAP and AR Workflow: Manage day-to-day ledger workflows across Account Payable and Accounts Receivable.\nRegulatory Compliance & Internal Controls: Maintain corporate accounting policies in strict compliance with U.S. GAAP. Ensure financial recordkeeping seamlessly aligns with all regulatory guidelines.\nAudit: Participate in external audits, prepare documentation and coordinate effort with the Controller and the company's outside accounting firm.\nProcess Automation: Lead the optimization of the company ERP network; identify opportunities for workflow efficiencies.\nQualifications\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.\nCredentials: Active Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation strongly preferred (CPA with strong operational/cost accounting background also considered).\nExperience: 5 to 7+ years of total progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a direct team management or supervisory position.
