Be part of a dynamic environment where your expertise in\ncloud operations will drive significant enhancements in the efficiency\nand effectiveness of our customers’ operations. As a Cloud Engineer on\nour team, you will be responsible for distributed and managed services\nautomating the installation, configuration and maintenance of platform\nservices.\nSpecific Duties and Responsibilities:\n- Maintain and improve existing build and deployment processes using\nCI/CD tools to automate and optimize service deployments within\ndevelopment, test, and production systems\n- Integrate with enterprise authentication services\n- Maintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling,\nsupport new services, optimize for cost\nefficiencies/authentication/search, etc.)\n- Manage and aggregate server logs and monitor for security and system\nrelated incidents\n- Monitor and analyze system performance, such as server load and\nresource usage\n- Apply configuration management disciplines to maintain software\nrevisions, security patches, hardening, and documentation along with\nmaintaining documentation and ensuring continuity of recurring tasks\n- Enforce best practices for security and reliability, and drive\nsecurity initiatives, like access control and vulnerability testing\n- Work with A&A Teams to maintain security requirements for operation\nof systems\n- Follow up on engineering tasks for operational solutions, and\nvalidate completion\n- Participant in SAFe and Scrum development teams and meetings\n- On-call support will be required\nRequired Skills:\n- AWS serverless infrastructure components\n- Willing to learn cross-domain services available at NGA\n- A working understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Bash\n- Multi-platform integration (connecting processes and services\nbetween AWS, GitLab, OpenShift, Nexus, Self Service)\n- GitLab CI/CD pipelines, typically centered around deploying or\nupdating applications/services in OpenShift or AWS\n- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application\ndevelopment processes\n- Understanding of GitLab or other DevSecOps/Continuous Integration\ntools\n- Knowledge of network technologies, common infrastructure components,\nload balancers, firewalls, virtual and physical infrastructure\ndesign\nDesired Skills:\n- Background as a system administrator\n- Cross Domain engineering\n- AWS Diode\n- Security+ Certification\n- Understanding of access management and security groups (i.e. IAM, S3\nbucket, SSH, VPN, etc.)\n- Ability to write and use unit and functional testing\n- Experience using Jira and Confluence\n- Strong written and oral communication\n- Customer engagement\nEducation:\nBachelors Degree in Computer Science or a
