The SETA should be competent in Research and\nDevelopment (R&D) programmatic reviews and procedures. The candidate\nwill also be responsible for ensuring that project management best\npractices are followed by the individual programs to include performers,\nindependent verification and validation (IV&V) entities, and within the\ngovernment research organization itself.\nThe research programs you would support focus on developing advanced\nGeospatial AI for Intelligence capabilities and methods.\nThe successful candidate will have subject matter expertise in AI/ML for\ncomputer vision, NLP, predictive analytics, LLMs and understanding of\ndata architecture and pipelines for large-scale analytics/GEOINT\nproduction.\n- Support the program managers in coordination, monitoring,\ncommunication, and integration of all technical aspects of the\nProgram lifecycle that includes:\n- Coordinate across government, academic, and industry research\nteams.\n- Review and assess technical deliverables, milestones, and\nevaluation results.\n- Track risks, dependencies, and integration issues across\nperformers.\n- Prepare reports, technical summaries, and briefings for senior\nleadership.\n- Serve as a liaison between performers, Test & Evaluation\ncontributors, government and transition partners;\n- Provide support for program related requirements for systems\nintegration, design, development, modeling and simulation, data\nanalytics and architecture design;\n- Stay current on advances in technologies relevant to the research\nprograms and perform technical studies as requested on topics of\ninterest to the program managers.\n- Provide technical support and expertise on new concepts relevant to\nthe program managers.\n- Support the evaluation of Seedling concepts\nSkills/Qualifications:\nRequired:\n- Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or\nrelevant engineering fields (electrical, computer, systems,\nsoftware).\n- EIGHT (8) or more years of work experience including, but not be\nlimited to\n- Knowledge of AI/ML (computer vision, NLP, predictive analytics,\nLLMs).\n- Understanding of data architectures and pipelines for\nlarge-scale analytics/GEOINT production.\n- Familiarity with AI governance, data quality, and mission\nassurance in operational settings\n- Experience with R&D of spatiotemporal data, architectures,\nmodeling and/or machine learning algorithms\n- Systems engineering and integration experience in complex,\ndata-intensive environments.\n- Experience creating program plans, work breakdown structures,\nand milestone schedules\n-\nDesired:\n- Master’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, or\nrelevant engineering fields (electrical, computer, systems,\nsoftware) with SIX (6) or more years of work experience\n- PhD in physics, mathematics, computer science, or relevant\nengineering fields (electrical, computer, systems, software) with\nFOUR (4) or more years of work experience\n- Experience in the Intelligence Community (IC), including\nrequirements, CONOPS, and transition\n- Experience managing a multi-disciplinary R&D or T&E team\n- Experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager\n- Ability to proactively manage multiple, concurrent tasks\n- Excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to\ndevelop succinct, comprehensive, and understandable documents using\ncomplex data from multiple sources\n- Excellent slide development and PowerPoint skills, with the ability\nto visually communicate complex ideas at a high level for\ntechnically savvy but non-expert audiences\n- Strong organizational, problem-solving,
