The USPS security\nclearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the\nU.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows:\n- U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories)\nfor longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless\nthey meet certain exceptions).\n- Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S.\nTerritories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3\nyears.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nEducation:\n- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical\ndiscipline, preferred but not required.\n- NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an\nadditional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.\nRequired Experience:\n- Prior experience with Burp Suite Professional, or other similar DAST\ntools\n- Experience with AI and penetration testing AI\n- Experience with Kali Linux and most of the tools available in the\ndistro for penetration testing\n- Experience with tools such as Metasploit Pro and Cobalt Strike for\nred team operations\n- Experience with Red Team engagements from planning to execution\n- Experience with phishing network users to gain access for lateral\nmovement on the network\n- Experience with Purple Team engagements to test monitoring controls\nin coordination with engineering teams and CSOC teams.\n- Proficiency in scripting, such as Python and/or PowerShell\n- Experience with penetration testing supporting PCI-DSS\n- Technical writing skills, along with ease in communicating concepts\nrelated to security vulnerabilities and attack path scenarios.\n- Familiar with OWASP Application Security Verification Standard\n(ASVS) and MITRE ATT&CK framework\n- Penetration testing certification recommended.
