NNSY's mission is\nto safely return warships to the Fleet on time and within budget.\nThe Systems Administrator (SharePoint) will support the administration,\nmaintenance, and operation of SharePoint Server environments. This role\nsupports enterprise collaboration and content management capabilities\nthrough secure, reliable SharePoint On-Premises and hybrid environments.\nResponsibilities (include but are not limited to):\n- Configuring, managing, and maintaining SharePoint Server (2016/2019)\nenvironments.\n- Administering web applications, site collections, content databases,\nand service applications.\n- Managing user permissions, Active Directory group integration, and\nSharePoint security policies.\n- Implementing and maintaining governance policies, backup and\nrecovery plans, and disaster recovery strategies.\n- Administering and optimizing Central Administration, Search Service\nApplication, User Profile Service, and Managed Metadata Services.\n- Supporting and managing migrations between SharePoint On-Premises\nand SharePoint Online using tools such as SPMT, ShareGate, or\nMetalogix.\n- Performing routine system health checks and applying patches,\nCumulative Updates (CUs), and Service Packs (SPs).\n- Monitoring system performance, reviewing logs, and responding to\nalerts or issues affecting SharePoint availability or performance.\n- Collaborating with infrastructure teams to support Windows Server,\nIIS, and SQL Server configurations related to SharePoint.\n- Investigating and resolving SharePoint errors, performance issues,\nand service disruptions.\n- Providing Tier II/III support to end users and site owners for\nSharePoint-related issues.\n- Maintaining documentation of configurations, procedures, and\ntroubleshooting guidance.\n- Deploying and configuring custom or third-party SharePoint\nsolutions, features, and web parts.\n- Supporting solution lifecycle management across development, test,\nand production environments.\n- Assisting with SharePoint migrations and upgrades between versions\nor environments.\nRequirements:\n- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience administering SharePoint\nServer\n- At least three (3) years of specialized experience managing,\nconfiguring, and supporting SharePoint On-Premises environments.\n- Or Level II Certification (Security+ or better) with seven (7) years\nof relevant experience as described above.\nDesired Qualifications:\n- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server Hybrid Administrator\nAssociate\n- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator\n- CompTIA
